Inspiration Board: 1930's Glam

This week I created an elegant '30's pink and black affair. The color palate is elegant and sophisticated, perfectly crafting the chic vintage mood.

I am in love with this gorgeous hanging dresses image by Josh Goleman. The bride found fabulous vintage gowns for each of her bridesmaids to wear in lieu of traditional matching dresses. If you are going for that authentic vintage feel, you should consider this route for your bridesmaids, it really does a lot to set the tone of the whole event. For the bride's look, this silky Jenny Packham creation outfitted with feather bolero just oozes old time glamour. Martha Stewart has some stunning ideas for the tables and lovely blush anemones for the bouquets. The beautifully monogramed invitations by Betsy White round out this sophisticated 1930's soiree.

What do you think? Is it going overboard with the vintage theme, or is it just the right amount to set the mood?
