Etsy Find of the Week: Leanne Marshall

If you love Project Runway as much as I do, then you might remember season 5 winner, Leanne Marshall. Leanne was one of my faves from day one, so you can imagine my glee when I found out she has an Etsy shop! That's right, you can get a delightfully feminine and unique Leanne original all from the comfort of your Etsy search tab! I am seriously swooning over these stunning designs. They are perfect for the bride searching for something lovely, modern, and romantic!

Fashion: Simple Silhouettes Spring 2011

I've always felt that bridesmaid dresses should be simple, easy, and elegant. I think Simple Silhouettes and I are on the same page because I'm loving their new collection. All the designs are effortlessly beautiful and totally 'wear again' dresses. There's no reason your gals can't be comfy and chic at the same time! Keep your bridal party a happy party by going with a dress they are sure to love.

I'm totally smitten with this fab convertible sleeve dress! It's a sure winner both ways!

Etsy Find of the Week: Love June

There is a place where glamour meets eco-friendly. That place is Love June. Seriously stunning gowns that are sustainable and oh so chic! As if her elegant vintage inspired designs didn't already have me swooning, Sara, the designer, creates unique patterns that utilize every inch of fabric, so there is virtually no waste. It's a win win for everybody! Plus, a lot of her designs are versatile, able to change from a one shoulder to a halter top with a quick switch-a-roo. These gowns are perfect for the bride looking for a simple and glamourous look and fabulous for bridesmaids who are sure to wear these dresses again!

Fashion: Bridal Market 2010

If you all haven't been following the amazing fashion at this year's Bridal Market, you are missing out! I have been drooling over all the gorgeous gowns for the past week and wanted to share a few of my faves! Some trends I've been noticing: rich applique details, sheer swiss dots, ruffles and rosettes, scalloped tiers, and illusion necklines. All seriously stunning and all majorly satisfying for your fashion sweet tooth!

Amsale sets the standard for simplistic elegance and quality (You all know I am crushing over this top Jackie O gown!!)

Christos wows with whimsical and romantic details

Reem Acra steps it up with some gorgeous glam gowns

Romona Keveza defines classic elegance and sophistication

Rivini stuns with a swoon-worthy and sculptural collection

Pricilla of Boston takes it to new heights with these beautiful silhouettes (PS- the bottom left gown has a detachable skirt for an instant reception dress!! Love!)

Fashion: Jenny Packham

Nothing brightens the week more than some gorgeous gowns. And there's no one better to do the trick than Jenny Packham! Her Spring 2011 collection is just too much fabulous to handle! She has her trademark sexy art deco gowns that are always stunning, with a few other lovely silhouettes as well. All of them are breathtaking and glamourous, yet still classics. They are so etherial yet ooze femininity and sex appeal! I also really love how she gives so many more options than the basic strapless gown! So much to fall in love with!

This left gown is so Grace Kelly gorgeous!! Total swoon!

Fashion: Monique Lhuillier Spring 2011

New York Fashion Week was in full swing this past week and I have been soaking in all the fashion goodness. I was blown away by Monique Lhuillier's ready to wear collection! If it is any indication of what is to come for her bridal collection, we are all in for a treat! Monique was inspired by a dream: "The dream was a beautiful girl running through a garden. Her very own Garden of Eden."I am absolutely loving the lush floral patterns, the bright apple reds, the sexy greens, and the glamourous golds! That vibrant green gown is so calling my name, along with the sheer sequined off the shoulder gold dress! Please tell, which ones are your faves??

She also has some gorgeous short white numbers that would be perfect for a second dress option! Love!

Fashion: Vintage

You all know I love vintage style, but you may not know my love for vintage fashion. It is fun, unique, and thoroughly chic! It is fabulous for everyday wear, but I love incorporating it into your wedding garb! Just looking stylish as a guest, mix and matching for bridesmaids, or even finding a phenomenal wedding gown, the vintage look is always golden! Plus, you know that no one else will be wearing the same dress!

So when Maris Ehlers sent me over this vintage fashion shoot, I knew I had to share! Most of the dresses are from a great vintage shop called Circa Vintage in Minnesota. There are some super adorable frocks from the 50s and 60s, even one from the 1940s! If you are in the Minneapolis area, you should definitely check them out, some of these dresses might still be in store! This top dress would be perfect for a guest at a summertime wedding (or any day for that matter! I envy the gal that grabs this one!)

Ok, if you love Project Runway as much as I do, you are going to love this! Chloe Dao, winner of Season 2, just launched her new bridal collection! And let me tell you, the gowns are stunning! Simple and chic, they are the perfect choice for the modern bride. I'm loving the sleek designs and ruffled details! This top gown and I are getting along very well. So sophisticated, yet utterly sexy!
