Etsy Find of the Week: Ampersandity & Verde Studio

This week I wanted to share my favorite Etsy Finds that will help make your invitations a little more lovely. Worried about addressing your envelopes? I'm in love with Ampersandity's calligraphy return address stamps. A simple and chic was to get an elegant look without having to have them all hand written by a calligrapher. Bonus: you can use it well after the wedding to keep up with your stylish letter giving.

A favorite trend of mine in the invitation world is using vintage stamps! It is such a great way to add a little personality to your outer envelop. A great shop to pick these up at is Verde Studio. I love them because they coordinate their stamps into sets, matching colors and themes to make it much easier to find what you are looking for.

I hope you love these ways to help make your stationary a little sweeter as much as I do!
Check back tomorrow for a lovely vineyard wedding!

Etsy Find of the Week: ctrlP

You know I always like to bring you the best of Etsy, and boy do I have a treat today! Lizzie and Isaiah, the amazing duo behind $10,000 Wedding (a super awesome blog you all should be following if you aren't already!), have just started their very own Etsy shop, crtlP! And let me tell you, it is the place to go to for fun, hip, and totally unique printable wedding stationary!

I thought I'd let Lizzie give you the low down on the goods:
My fiance, Isaiah, and I got started blogging about the process of our wedding...initially, just to keep track of all of the information and inspiration we liked. Little did we know: There is an amazing community of brides, married couples and "gurus" on the topics of marriage, inspiration and what have you. We wanted to give something back to the community we have gotten so much from. We started a little tradition called Template Thursdays, where we provide free templates of wedding and non-wedding related printables.

We had such a great time with it, staying up all hours of the night making templates and trying out designs for our invitations. I have been a long-time Etsy lover, and we decided to try out a few designs in a shop. ctrlP is what came out of all of that: Our printable invitation studio for rockstar couples.

While we were impressed with a lot of what the web had to offer in terms of designs, if anything was our style, it was out of our price range. It seems like the wedding paperie industry in the affordable range didn't have much to offer us in terms of offbeat style and what not. We definitely swoon over some designs out of our price range though, that's for sure!

Isaiah has been a graphic designer for about 10 years and he's been teaching me the way of the sword...I mean...design for the last two or three. Our style is somewhere between mod, contemporary, abstract and indie, but we try to cater to couples who might be expecting more than a flower stencil on their invitations.

Brides can expect really quick service and friendliness from ctrlP as well as designs that (hopefully!) are unique and different to today's most popular style. The invitations we sell are printables, meaning we send you a high-definition PDF and you print out the design yourself or in a print shop. Each sale includes a printing guide, so you're not all by yourself out there in the woods on a full moon or anything.

So boiling it down, the recap: Isaiah and I are a graphic-design loving couple who just think you should be able to afford something kick-ass for your budget, however small it might be.

Be sure to check out Lizzie and Isaiah on Twitter and Facebook as well!

Etsy Find of the Week: Dapper Paper

I have been having a craving for fabulous stationary recently and Dapper Paper has swooped in to fill it. Fun, fresh, and totally chic, their wedding suites are just the ticket! I love their crisp, modern designs and playful wording! And if you don't believe this duo is incredibly creative and talented, check out this stunning invitation suite inspired by Lord of the Rings! I mean, how amazing and beautiful can a wedding invite get? They also make some pretty sweet invitations for events outside of the wedding day, like their modern brunch card and adorable vintage bachelorette party invite. I'm pretty much totally in love!

Ok, I know these are not so much weddings, but I thought they were super cute and oh so witty!

Today we are starting the week off right with an amazing download Jen from Blush Printables created especially for Glamour and Grace! It is seriously breathtaking and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!!

Hi everyone! I am so so SO excited to be a guest blogger today on Glamour and Grace. My name is Jen and I’m the designer/owner for Blush Printables, an online stationery boutique that specializes in do-it-yourself stationery.

Your wedding stationery is the prelude to the happiest day of your life. Your Save the Dates and wedding invitations help set the tone for your big day, and should be a reflection of your personality and style. DIY invitations are certainly affordable and more economical, but being a budget conscious bride doesn’t mean you should sacrifice quality or style.

To help you celebrate in style, I designed a pink peony invitation suite called Simply Bloom that is FREE for download!
suite

The full suite comes with one 7x5 invitation, one 4x6 response card and one 4x6 save the date card, and can be easily customized at home with your own wording.
