The family all pitched in with their particular talents and gifts, and the result was a breathtaking ceremony. I have to tell you how talented this family is! For starters, Bethanie’s mom, Diane, MADE Bethanie’s gown! I am STILL in awe! Bethanie’s Stepfather was the officiant for the ceremony (held in their family church). Tyler’s brother sang and played piano. Bethanie’s father made much of the decorations for the ceremony, including the mossy monogram-esque “P” for the aisle runner, the table holding the unity candle, the arbor…. I could go on and on!
Bethanie’s bouquet (as well as the Maid of Honors bouquet, and the boutonnieres) were made by the bride’s mom and dad. The flowers were a mixture of hot house flowers and wildflowers picked that morning.
All of this just added to the magic and the romance of Bethanie & Tyler’s wedding day, which truly felt like a fairytale. I am so glad I was able to make the trip to Indiana, and so lucky to have connected with these sweet, lovely, talented people.

ReplyDeleteOh, yeah! Brides, Grooms, simple + authentic = more $ in the pocket, less stress in the day, and precious memories. Wise, very wise. It's all about you two, after all. Worth it! Of course, without the photos (like the work of the fabulous Maranda the Mahvelous), what do you have but precious memories? What a beautiful record this handsome couple has, thanks to yet another wise choice.
